A Wireless Linked Emergency Alert System Delivering Siren & Voice Message Broadcasts
CONTROLLERS
AARC Systems offers customisable AARC-EVAC Controllers for broadcasting emergency alerts triggered by AARC-EVAC remotes. These controllers, suitable for indoor and outdoor use, feature various speakers, visual alert beacons, and repeaters. They can operate independently or as part of a network, with tailored evacuation instructions in different locations. With built-in UPS and multi-lingual instructional messages, they provide a reliable and comprehensive emergency alert solution.
RECEIVER & MESSAGE UNIT FOR PA SYSTEM
The AARC-EVAC™ Wireless Linked Emergency Alert Receiver Message Player Unit for PA Systems outputs standard Evacuation & Alert sirens, “Lock Down”, an Evacuation Drill message plus a number of unique “S.O.S.” assistance zoned messages when triggered by a wireless linked Remote Transmitter. These master units also have an integrated set of push-button switches that can also be used to trigger the alarms, plus an evacuation drill message button. The units also have a Cancel button which is used to cancel all siren and audio messages plus any visual alert beacons deployed in the system. Note: when operating a P.A. based system a single evacuation message is applied across the whole system.
EXTERNAL INTERFACE UNIT
The AARC-EVAC EIU (External Interface Unit) is a transmitter designed to be wired to a source external to the AARC-EVAC system. That wired connection enables the external source to trigger the EIU, which sends the alarm or alert to repeaters and receiver/message players. Any one of the alarms or messages on the AARC-EVAC system can be configured to be triggered by an EIU Unit. The EIU is handy for incorporating existing alert systems or specialised alert equipment like fire panels and door alarms with an AARC-EVAC system.
REMOTE TRANSMITTERS
AARC-EVAC™ Remote Transmitters come in either Hand Held (ATX2 Series) or Wall Mount (ATX3 Series). Handheld remotes can be used as a portable transmitter. However, they can also be wall mounted using Velco hook and loop fastening for maximum placement flexibility or as a home when not required for remote use, ie yard duty. Wall Mount remotes are designed to be wall mounted with 111.5mm mounting centers.
SMART PROTECTOR UNIT
The AARC-EVAC™ Smart Protector Unit is designed to reduce nuisance-activated alarm and alert calls. When the cover is lifted, the unit emits a loud high-pitched tone alarm to deter false alarms. This Smart Protector Unit is commonly used in conjunction with the 3-second button press delayed trigger option available on the AARC-EVAC™ system to maximise its effectiveness. This product is an electronic version of the “Break Glass Alarm Button”
